Google Analytics is back in the news again this week. France's data watchdog the CNIL has issued updated guidance again saying that GA is in breach of European Union Law.
This is just the latest in a slew of countries declaring it illegal.
The issue is GA's transfer of personal data to the US. Hopefully, with the new data transfer agreement set to be completed by the end of the year, we see this legal issue disappear.
